Hey there, friend!

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. This little corner of the internet is where we explore what it means to live out Kingdom-minded motherhood while also navigating the beautiful (and sometimes challenging!) world of a budget-focused household.

Maybe you’re wondering what “The Hilltop Collective” means? Well, we live on a bit of a hill, and “collective” just means we’re all in this together – sharing ideas and supporting each other.

This little corner of the internet is where we explore what it means to live out Kingdom-Minded Motherhood while also navigating the beautiful (and sometimes challenging!) world of a Budget-Focused Household.

So who am I?

I’m a Mom to two amazing kids – an energetic boy born in 2016 and a sweet little girl born in 2025. Being their Mom is the best adventure, and it’s something I always dreamed of.

For a long time, though, being a stay-at-home Mom felt like a distant dream. My husband and I had a lot of debt hanging over our heads from school loans, car loans, and credit cards. It felt like a heavy weight, and it kept me from being home with my kids the way I wanted to be.

But guess what? We worked really, really hard, made a lot of tough choices, and we paid it ALL off! It wasn’t easy, but it was so worth it. Now, I get to be home with my little ones, and that’s why one of the big things I want to talk about here is how we manage our household in a way that doesn’t break the bank. Think yummy, budget-friendly meals, simple baking projects, and making the most of what we have.

Life here at The Hilltop Collective is pretty full. Besides being a Mom, I love taking photos (you’ll probably see lots of them!), and we have a little flock of chickens that give us fresh eggs. I also enjoy getting my hands dirty in the garden, and my 8-year-old is my little helper with all sorts of fun crafts and projects around the house. Plus, we love being active and finding ways to enjoy the outdoors as a family.

Looking ahead, we have dreams of growing our family even more through IVF. It’s a journey we started to bring our little girl into the world, and I’ll be sharing some of that here too, when the time feels right.

So what can you expect?

I’ll be sharing:

  •  Stories and tips about being a Mom and keeping our faith at the center of it all.
  •  Our favorite budget-friendly recipes for meals and treats.
  •  Ideas for fun and easy crafts you can do with kids.
  •  What we’re learning in the garden and how we preserve our harvest.
  •  Little snippets of our active life and our adventures.
  •  And maybe even some cute chicken photos! 😉

My hope is that this blog will be a place where you can find encouragement, practical tips, and maybe even some inspiration for your own life, no matter what your “hilltop” looks like.

THANK YOU

Thanks for stopping by! I’m excited to connect with you all. Feel free to say hello in the comments below – I’d love to hear from you!
